Full Body Waxing
Welcome to The Firm, home of Philadelphia's Best Wax for Women and Men.
Wax every part of the body, there is no area that is too strange to wax. At The Firm we specialize in full body waxing, meaning we can wax anywhere on the body from your entire face and hairline to your toes, literally anywhere hair may exist.
Find the best
A Brazilian wax can be terribleeee, bad, ok, good or great, and that all depends on your wax specialist. Find a reputable, highly experienced wax specialist in your area. You can ask friends and family for recommendations, you can google your area or you can seach social media.
Get Hydrated
Increasing your water intake is important to enhance the results of waxing. Think about it, when you are dry inside, the skin that houses your hair is dry, it is a desert holding fossils, the hair you see is dry and the root that connects to blood vessels is dry.

This makes for hair breaking off during waxing, which can then turn into ingrown hairs or hairs that become too short and unable to be removed during that service. Your dry skin is also waxed and removed as it is highly texturized and adheres to the wax leaving your skin feeling raw leading you to believe you were burned.

Drinking water and being hydrated does not look like 2 bottles of water a day. Drinking water and being hydrated looks like at least 2 liters of water a day for the average sized woman. There is a formula to figure out just how much water you should be drinking for your body weight, Your Weight x .67 = Ounces of water you should try to drink daily.

Begin to incorporate more water into your lifestyle immediately at least a week or two before your First Brazilian wax to prepare your skin and hair.
Allow your hair to grow at least 2-3 weeks
For your First Brazilian wax we highly recommend 3 weeks of regrowth for the best results and minimal discomfort. When waxing too soon,  at 1-2 weeks post shave with too short of hairs you will experience more tugging and pulling and more left behind hairs that come with short hair.
Mentally prepare yourself
Yes you will be naked from the waist down but no, this is not a time to feel self conscious or embarrassed. Just like doctors, your experienced wax specialist will take great care of you, your first time. Experienced wax specialists have seen many before you, have seen a lot of different things before you and are completely comfortable and aware of their role during your First Brazilian wax.

No, it is not weird for us to do our job, it is our job to make you comfortable and remove unwanted hair, so relax and let the magic begin. Your private area will be completely visible and you will have to hold your legs in specific poses during the waxing process. During the wax you will be touched, held, brushed, wiped and you may even be asked to hold areas outside of the waxing zone to ensure proper removal of the hair. Get comfortable, because we are.
Exfoliate
You should begin to exfoliate 2-3 times per week, one week before of your wax to remove any dry, dead skin and to work up and out any existing ingrown hairs. Be sure to gently exfoliate the day before your First Brazilian wax.
Avoid Caffeine
Caffeine can make you feel more susceptible to pain. If there is caffeine in there it can make your skin feel more sensitive. Try waxing before your morning coffee or a few hours after.
Cleanse and freshen
Before your First Brazilian wax you want to be sure that you have used the bathroom and showered your entire private area or bikini area front and back and everything in between. There should be no residue left behind in the back area. If you are spotting or are on your cycle during your wax please wear a new tampon, there should be no visible blood to come into contact with, for health and safety control.
